    Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for microalgae dissolution and fermentation is provided to shorten time for hydrogen and methane fermentation and to remarkably enhance hydrogen methane gas production. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for microalgae dissolution comprises an algae culture bath(11), an algae solubilizing tank(12) which is connected from an exhaust gas supply tank(10) at the back end of the algae culture bath by an exhaust gas line, a hydrogen fermentation tank(13), a methane fermentation tank(14); and a gas separation tank(15). The algae solubilizing tank comprises a device for measuring microalgae dissolution rate and recycling device. The gas separation tank further comprises a CO_2 circulation line which supplies carbon dioxide to the algae culture bath.
