Abstract: PURPOSE: An adsorbent for water treatment containing chitosan and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase adsorption quantity per unit volume while minimizing volume, and to improve intensity of chitosan and acid-resistance by manufacturing core-shell type chitosan beads. CONSTITUTION: An adsorbent for water treatment containing chitosan includes core-shell type chitosan beads. A manufacturing method of the core-shell type chitosan beads comprises the following steps: manufacturing chitosan liquid by adding chitosan powder with an ionic emulsifying agent, a carbon material, and an anionic enhancer in an acetate solution; manufacturing chitosan particles by adding a gelling solution in the chitosan liquid; and acquiring a shell membrane existing in the core of the chitosan particle.

Abstract: 본 발명은 키토산과 황산염계 화합물을 함유하는 수처리용 응집제 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로 보다 상세하게는 갑오징어의 뼈나 게 등에 존재하고 있는 키토산에 황산염을 첨가한 표면 개질된 폐자원 활용의 친환경적 응집제로서 응집제의 사용량을 대폭적으로 절감 및 입자의 제거 효율을 증대시킬 수 있으며, 응집 pH 범위가 넓어 수많은 수처리 산업, 식품산업, 화학산업 등에서 적용하고 있는 물속 고체 입자의 제거 및 분리 공정에 크게 기여할 것이다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A soil cleaning solution containing surfactant and chitosan and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to increase solubility of organic compound, removal efficiency of contaminant, and reduce sludge generation rate. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of soil cleaning solution comprises the following steps: manufacturing chitosan solution by dissolving chitosan powder into acetic acid solution; and manufacturing a mixture by mixing a solution containing either non-ionic or anionic surfactant with chitosan solution. The solution containing the surfactant contains 0.2-20 weight% of surfactant. In the mixture manufacturing step, 0.05-0.5 parts by weight of chitosan solution is mixed based on 100.0 parts by weight of the surfactant. The non-ionic surfactant is selected from one of the following chemical substances: glycerol, polyethylene glycol, ethylenoxide, sorbitan, sorbitol, Triton X-100, polyoxyethylene sorbitan esters, alkyl ethoxylate ether, dioctyl sulfosuccinate, taurodeoxicholate, or sodium olate.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A coagulant for water treatment is provided to reduce coagulation costs and the amount of sludge produced by improving efficiency for removing sludge and increasing coagulation speed. CONSTITUTION: A coagulant for water treatment contains chitosan and a sulfate-based compound. The sulfate-based compound is sulfuric acid, ammonium sulfate, sodium sulfate, acid potassium sulfate or sodium hydrogensulfate. The concentration of the sulfate-based compound is 0.01 ~ 50mM of chitosan. The chitosan is chitosand liquid including acetic acid.
