Abstract: A novel Pseudomonas fluorescens HYK0210-SK09 is provided to show excellent diatom growth inhibition effect capable of environment-friendly controlling the growth of the diatom against harmful diatom in fresh water, thereby effectively solving the green tide caused by the diatom in fresh water. The Pseudomonas fluorescens HYK0210-SK09 against harmful diatom such as Stephanodiscus hanzschii UTCC 267 in fresh water is deposited as a deposition number of KFCC-11368P. To control the diatom, the Pseudomonas fluorescens HYK0210-SK09 is applied to water system where the diatom occurs.
