Abstract: PURPOSE: A polymer composite electrolyte is provided to have very excellent ion conductivity at room temperature, while having high mechanical strength and improved flexability. CONSTITUTION: A polymer composite electrolyte for a lithium secondary battery comprises: a film formed of a first lithium salt and a polymer; and an ion-conductive solvent comprising a second lithium salt and organic solvent, impregnated on the film. The organic solvent is selected from tetraethylene glycol dimethylether, ethylene glycol dimethacrylate, polyethylene glycol, polyethylene glycol dialkyl ether, polyalkyl glycol dialkyl ether, or combinations thereof. A mixing ratio of the first lithium salt and the polymer is 1:20-1:15.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an electrolyte for a lithium sulfur battery and a lithium sulfur battery using the same. The electrolyte for a lithium sulfur battery of the present invention includes lithium polysulfide in the electrolyte, so as to prevent sulfur compounds from eluting from anode materials including sulfur, and to improve the stability of the electrolyte. As a result, the side effect, caused by the reaction between the eluted sulfur compounds and cathode, is prevented, thereby presenting stable lifespan properties. Abstract: PURPOSE: A Lithium sulfur battery is provided to have reliability and safety by comprising solid polymer electrolyte in perfect solid state not comprising liquid phase. CONSTITUTION: A Lithium sulfur battery comprises a positive electrode comprising a positive electrode active material, a negative electrode comprising a negative electrode active material, and solid electrolyte comprising a lithium salt, a polymer, filler, and Li2S. In the solid electrolyte, a content of Li2S is 1-10 mole based on 100.0 mole of the polymer. The solid electrolyte is manufactured by hot-pressing the lithium salt, polymer, filler and Li2S. In the solid electrolyte, the filler and Li2S are dispersed in a composite of the polymer and the lithium salt. The polymer is selected from a group consisting of polyethylene oxide, polypropylene oxide, polyacrylonitrile, polyvinylidene fluoride, and combinations thereof.
