Abstract: A terminal for distribution automation and a fault current protection cooperation method are provided to facilitate determination of a fault section by suppressing the false N phase fault detection. A terminal for distribution automation includes a circuit input output module(200), a main module(100) and a backplane module(400). The circuit input output module receives the current and the voltage of a switch. The main module detects the fault through the current and the voltage received by the circuit input output module. The main module is connected to a user interface module(300). The backplane module performs signal interface between a circuit input output module, a main module and a power module(500). The main module includes a converter, a DSP(Digital Signal Processor) and a CPU(Central Processing Unit). The DSP suppresses the false N-state fault detection. The CPU operates the protection cooperation algorithm.

Abstract: 본 발명은 기능별 회로별로 모듈화한 배전자동화용 단말장치로서 기본적인 구성은 파워모듈(PSU), 메인모듈(MCU), 회로 입출력 모듈(IOU), 백플레인 모듈(BPU), 유저 인터페이스모듈(HMI)로 구성되며, 기능별, 회로별로 모듈화하여 회로별로 감시, 제어, 계측이 가능하고, 6회로까지 확장 가능한 단말장치이다. 상기 장치는 고장검출의 신뢰도를 향상시키기 위하여 배전선로의 고장전류를 인지하여 고장검출(FI) 시 통전 방향을 판단하고, 거짓 엔(N)상 고장을 인지하여 거짓 엔(N)상 고장검출을 억제함으로써, 시스템 운영자가 고장구간을 판단하기 용이하고, 고장 검출 정보에 따른 섹션(Section) 기능의 보호협조 알고리즘을 구현한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 자동화개폐기를 6회로까지 수용가능하고, 배전선로의 고장검출 신뢰도를 향상시켜 고장을 감지하고, 후비 보호기기와 유연하게 협조하여 상기 고장에 의한 정전을 감지하여 자동으로 개방하고 정해진 시퀸스(Sequence)에 의해 자동 투입함으로써 최소의 고장 구간만을 자동으로 분리하여 광역정전을 방지할 수 있다.
