Abstract: PURPOSE: A primer and method for diagnosing infection of Pieris rapae granulovirus is provided to prevent mortality of Pieris rapae and to obtain genetic information relating to Pieris rapae granulovirus. CONSTITUTION: A primer set for diagnosing infection of Pieris rapae granulovirus contains a primer set having olidonucleotide of sequence numbers 1 and 2, primer set having oligonucleotide of sequence numbers 3 and 4, or primer set having oligonucleotide of sequence number 5 and 6. A kit for diagnosing infection of Pieris rapae granulovirus comprises the primer sets. A method for diagnosing Pieris rapae granulovirus performed by amplifying the gene with the primer set.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing fosmid library of Pieris rapae is provided to reduce time and cost for sequence analysis. CONSTITUTION: A method for preparing fosmid library of Pieris rapae comprises: a step of completely pulverized with a tissuelizer; a step of adding 20ml of suspension to 1,250g of pulverized sample; a step of centrifuging the completely suspended sample at 5000rpm and 4°C for 10 minutes to remove debris; and a step of isolating nucleus.
