Abstract: 본발명은스틸코드를구성하는황동도금강선의신선시습식윤활제에미량의코발트화합물을첨가하여신선다이를통과하는과정에서황동도금층극표면에서황동과코발트의합금화가이루어진시효접착성이향상된고무보강용스틸코드에관한것이다. 본발명은스틸코드용도금강선의 4nm 이내의극표면에코발트가 0.001 ∼ 0.1ppm 함유된것으로, 그제조방법은, 황동도금강선을마련하는단계; 한쌍의다단인출콘과이들인출콘사이에다수개의신선다이가구비된습식신선조에채워진습식윤활제중에코발트화합물의농도가 0.1 ∼ 100ppm이되도록코발트화합물을혼합하는단계; 및상기황동도금강선이상기습식신선조내의인출콘과신선다이들을거치면서다단신선되는과정에서강선의표면에코발트의부착및 황동층과의합금화가이루어져서최종다이를통과한강선의 4nm 이내의극표면에코발트가 0.001 ∼ 0.1ppm 함유되도록하는단계로이루어진다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a brass plated steel wire used for a spring. The diameter of dry wire drawn steel wire for a spring is 0.5-3.0 mm, the thickness of a brass coating layer is 0.2-2.0μm, the brass coating layer having a copper content of 55-57% and a zinc content of 30-45%, and the hardness of the brass coating layer is 100-400 Hv. The steel wire for a spring has beautiful appearance, excellent moldability, and improved corrosion resistance by a tempering heat treatment after molding a spring.
