    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a biological advanced water treatment system with a baffle being formed of a perforated polyether wall, which promotes attachment and multiplication of microorganisms thereon, reduces cost and time for reforming a conventional water treatment plant to an advanced water treatment plant, increases treatment efficiency and capacity of water treatment system, and reduces sludge production. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a plurality of baffles(100,200) being formed of perforated polyether compartment walls for separating a tank into anaerobic zone, anoxic zone and aeration zone, and air supply pipes installed in the baffles(100,200) for adjusting concentration of microorganisms attached on the surface of the baffles(100,200).
