Abstract: The present invention to a coating dispersion comprising: a polyorganosilsesquioxane; and a silicon oxide powder dispersed in said polyorganosilsesquioxane, said oxide powder having a refractive index of from about 1.2 to about 2.7 and including a plurality of particles having a particle size less about 100 nanometers, wherein plurality of particles is present in said coating dispersion in an amount of from about 10 wt.% to about 80 wt.%; said coating dispersion providing a coating having transparency to ultraviolet radiation.
