Abstract:
Various embodiments of a fluid nozzle are disclosed. The nozzle includes a tube having a fluid passageway that extends between an aperture disposed in a first end of the tube and an inlet disposed in a second end of the tube, and a notch disposed in a sidewall of the tube. The notch defines a shield portion of the sidewall of the tube. The fluid nozzle further includes a cap rotatably connected to the tube and disposed over the aperture and the notch of the tube. When the nozzle is in a first orientation the cap is rotated relative to the tube such that an outlet of the cap includes a maximum open area. When the nozzle is in a second orientation the shield portion of the tube occludes a portion of the outlet of the cap such that the outlet includes a minimum open area.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatuses and systems are disclosed including a method of filling a container with substantially only a liquid. The method can include the removal of a gas from the container prior to, during or after the filling of the container with the liquid. According to one embodiment, the container includes an inner liner and a lid. The method includes providing a volume defined by at least the inner liner and the lid of the container. In such embodiment, the liquid can initially be contained within a first portion of the volume and a remaining portion of the volume can contain a gas. The method can include removing substantially all the gas from the volume via one or more ports that communicate with the volume while retaining substantially only the liquid within the volume.
Abstract:
A liquid spray gun nozzle assembly is disclosed comprising a coating liquid inlet portion comprising a liquid connector for connection to an external liquid source; a coating liquid outlet portion comprising a liquid nozzle for spraying a coating liquid fed into the nozzle assembly through the coating liquid inlet portion, the liquid nozzle being disposed along a spray axis; a coating liquid flow path fluidly connecting the coating liquid inlet portion to the liquid nozzle; and a spray gun connection portion opposite the coating liquid outlet portion adapted to connect the liquid spray gun nozzle assembly to a compatible liquid spray gun body. The spray gun connection portion comprises a nozzle assembly sealing surface adapted to seal the liquid spray gun nozzle assembly to the compatible liquid spray gun body, the nozzle assembly sealing surface comprising first and second sealing members that are each circular and concentric with one another.
Abstract:
A device for cutting media is provided. The device includes a cover having a sidewall extending therefrom; a guide disposed substantially beneath the cover and comprising a blade; an actuating mechanism disposed in at least one of the cover and the guide; and an actuating wall disposed between the cover and the guide. Engagement of the actuating mechanism creates a cutting action between the blade and the actuating wall.
Abstract:
A barrel (20) adapted for use with a spray gun (2) is disclosed. The barrel (20) comprises a boost feed port (44) fluidly connected to a boost passageway (48), the boost passageway (48) being integral to the barrel (20). The boost passageway (48) is adapted to convey a pressurized boost fluid originating in the spray gun (2) to a boost delivery port (56) to assist in urging a coating fluid from a compatible coating fluid reservoir (80) for spraying by the spray gun (2).
Abstract:
A holder for knife cartridges comprises two chambers connected with a hinge. Each chamber is configured for receiving and holding a knife cartridge. At least one of the chambers is configured to releasably hold a knife cartridge. The holder can be folded at the hinge such that the chambers form an enclosure.
Abstract:
The present invention features a cleaning implement, such as a mop, that may be used for cleaning a floor. The mop of the invention typically includes a mop head and a handle pivotally connected to the mop head. The mop head also includes means for securing a mop media, typically a flexible disposable cleaning sheet, to the mop head. The mop may be passed over the floor with one side of the cleaning sheet presented for cleaning the floor. The mop head may then be inverted with the other side of the cleaning sheet presented for further cleaning of the floor.
Abstract:
The present invention is a display housing for use with a display screen. The display housing includes a rear housing portion and a front frame connectable to the rear housing portion. The front frame defines an aperture through which the display screen is visible when the display screen is disposed between the front frame and the rear housing portion. The display housing also includes a retaining component for retaining a filter medium between the display screen and a front edge of the front frame.
