    Abstract: A backing device useful in repairing a hole. In some embodiments, the hole is in a wall, for example a relatively large hole in a wall (e.g., vertical wall, ceiling, etc.) of, for example, a home or building structure. The backing device includes a collapsible backing member and adhesive strips. The backing member defines a front face opposite a rear face, and includes first and second panels connected at a hinge segment. The adhesive strips are disposed on the front face. The backing member is foldable from a flat state to a collapsed state for insertion through the wall hole. Once deployed “behind” the wall, the backing member is transitioned to the flat state, and the adhesive strips utilized to secure the backing device to a back surface of the wall. In some embodiments, the backing device, while in the flat state, is relatively rigid in one direction and collapsible in the opposite direction.

    Abstract: Systems and kits for decorating walls include a plurality of décor assemblies and a plurality of complementary fastening structures. The décor assemblies include a décor element and a releasable fastening structure providing first fastening elements. The complementary fastening structure includes a base, a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on the base, and second fastening elements. The first fastening elements are releasably mateable with the second fastening elements to define a releasable fastening system. During use, a complementary fastening structure is releasably applied to a wall, and is connected to and supports one of the décor assemblies via the releasable fastening system. The releasable fastening system can comprise low profile hooks and loops, exhibiting relatively low holding power.

    Abstract: An air filter device including an air filter unit and an expansion unit. The air filter unit includes a filter media assembly maintained by an outer frame assembly. The outer frame assembly defines exterior length, width and depth dimensions of the air filter device in an initial state. The expansion unit provides one or more of an expanded length, width or depth in an expanded state of the air filter device. Portions or an entirety of the expansion unit can provided apart from the air filter unit in a deliver condition of the air filter device, or can be assembled to the air filter unit prior to delivery to a user. The air filter devices of the present disclosure are useful with a wide variety of differently size air handling devices, able to readily seal with an air handling device compartment via the expansion unit.
