    Abstract: A notepad includes multiple sheets that are arranged into a stack. Each sheet has a first major face, a second major face, and a perimeter edge at which each of the first and second major faces terminate. The notepad also includes an adhesive disposed on a portion of the second major face of each sheet such that the portion of the second major face of each sheet releasably adheres to a corresponding portion of the first major face of an underlying sheet. The portion being disposed with the adhesive lies adjacent to a portion of the perimeter edge of a corresponding sheet for forming a releasably bonded side of the stack. Also, the stack is twisted about a common central axis of the sheets present therein such that the notepad has a spiral shape.

    Abstract: An accessory mounting system (30) and a helmet (10) that includes such systems are disclosed. The accessory mounting system (30) includes a plate (32) adapted to be permanently connected to a substantially continuous portion of a ballistic layer (12) of a helmet, where the ballistic layer has an outer surface (14). The plate (32) includes an inner surface (34) and an outer surface (36), where the inner surface of the plate is adapted to be disposed in contact with an outer surface of the ballistic layer. The accessory mounting system also includes an accessory rail (50) adapted to be removably connected to the plate, where the accessory rail includes an inner surface (52) and an outer surface (54). The inner surface of the accessory rail is adapted to be disposed in contact with the plate.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a tape dispenser for dispensing tape from a tape roll received therein. In one embodiment, the tape dispenser comprises a main body with a mandrel adapted to receive and releasably retain a tape roll, and wherein the mandrel allows rotation of the tape roll about a mandrel axis. It further includes a cutting arm comprising a blade attached to the main body for cutting the tape and positioned at a distance from the mandrel axis. The tape dispenser further includes an attachment unit for temporarily and releasably attaching the tape dispenser to a furniture, wherein the main body is pivotably attached to the attachment unit, and wherein a pivot axis is perpendicular to a mandrel axis.

    Abstract: The present disclosure includes a retrofit sensor module for use with a protective head top with a helmet and a visor. The sensor module includes a sensor housing and an attachment mechanism. The sensor housing encloses a head presence sensor to sense when the protective head top is being worn. The sensor housing also encloses a position sensor to sense the position of the visor relative to the helmet. The retrofit sensor module further comprises an attachment mechanism secured to the housing. The attachment mechanism mates with a first hinge component of a hinge assembly in the protective head top to removably install the sensor module into the protective head top, wherein the hinge assembly allows the visor to move relative to the helmet.
