Abstract: A filter predicted capacity estimation system is presented that includes a parameter retriever that retrieves parameter information for an atmosphere around the filter. The system includes a parameter trend retriever that retrieves historical parameter indications from a database. The system also includes a real time capacity estimator that, based on the parameter information retrieved, and solves a set of controlling equations to generate an estimated capacity. The controlling equations are a set of mass and energy balance equations. The system also includes a parameter projection generator that, based on the historic parameter indications, generates a future parameter trend for the atmosphere and filter use. The system also includes a predicted capacity estimator that, based on the adsorption estimate, and based on the future parameter trend, generates a predicted capacity estimate. The system also includes a signal generator that generates a signal if either the estimated capacity or the predicted capacity estimate is above a threshold.

Abstract: In some examples, a system includes a respirator configured to be worn by a user; a sensor operatively coupled to the respirator; and a computing device comprising a memory and one or more computer processors, the memory comprising instructions that when executed by the one or more computer processors cause the one or more computer processors to: in response to receiving data from the sensor, determine, during at least one action that is performed by the user and that corresponds to at least one graphical element, that the fit test was not satisfied; determine, based at least in part on particular context data associated with the fit test, at least one remedial recommendation to satisfy the fit test; and output for display the at least one remedial recommendation to satisfy the fit test.

Abstract: There is provided a computing device comprising: at least one processor; and a memory comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to: receive first sensor data indicative of a gas characteristic in a sealed space formed by a face of a wearer and a negative pressure reusable respirator; receive second sensor data indicative of a position of at least one valve in the negative pressure reusable respirator; determine comparative data by comparing the first sensor data to the second sensor data; and perform one or more actions in response to the comparative data. There is also provided a system using such computing device.
