Abstract: Described herein is a filtration medium and method for treating a chloramine-containing liquid. The active chloramine removal material comprises carbon, nitrogen, and sulfur, and the sum of the sulfur and nitrogen in the active chloramine removal material is at least 4.0 mass %.
