Abstract: PURPOSE: To realize the combustion less in NOx without damaging the efficiency by providing an outlet diffuser of a compressor with a first injection system, and providing a second injection system on the upstream side of a burner of a combustor in a power plant provided with a turbine. CONSTITUTION: In a power plant comprising a compressor 2, a combustor, and at least one turbine, an injector 5a is provided immediately on the downstream side of the compressor 2, i.e., on an outlet diffuser 4 of the compressor, and the pre-compressed air from the compressor 2 is further compressed by injecting a high-pressure steam 10 generated in a waste heat steam generator 13 from a drive nozzle of the injector 5a. A part of the high-pressure steam 10 to be supplied to the injector 5a is branched and supplied to the drive nozzle of another injector 5b, and the high-pressure steam is injected in a burner 100 of a combustor 6 from the injector 5b together with a liquid fuel 112 to burn the mixture to an optimum in the combustor 6.
