Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple, rapid and positive method for setting a main controlled variable during the operation of a gas-turbine group essentially comprising at least one compressor, at least one combustion chamber, at least one turbine and at least one generator. SOLUTION: A target value 3 is compared with a measured value 4, and the resulting main control difference 5 is hierarchically allocated to at least one of cascades 9, 18 via a management unit 1. The cascades 9, 18 are essentially composed of main controlled variable controllers 6, 15 and downstream variable controllers 8, 17 acting on the respective variable actuators 14, 23.
