Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the shape of powder cloud during operation by changing the feed of control air by forming a compressed air flow in the tangential direction on a powder/air flow in a space body and expanding and discharging the formed powder/air flow having spin from a powder spray device. SOLUTION: Fluidized powder 8 is put in a scattering device 1 as a dust/air flow from a nozzle 11. The scattering device 1 is constituted as a space 3, and the space 3 is formed of a pipe 4. In the pipe 4, plural drill holes 5 are made in rows on the periphery of the pipe, and compressed air is introduced into the space 3 from the drill holes 5 as control air 6 in contact with the powder/air flow 16 in the tangential direction. As a result, the helical motion of the powder/air flow 16 toward an outlet 12 is strengthened, and the outlet 12 is constituted so as to expand in a funnel. By this way, the shape of expanded powder cloud 15 is changed during operation by changing the feed of the control air 6.
