Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To spray a powder so as to be capable of easily controlling a high discharge ratio and controlling a powder jetting direction. SOLUTION: For example, in this powder spraying apparatus and method used in electrostatic painting, the powder 8 fluidized in a hermetically closed container 2 is discharged from the nozzle 11 on the container 2 in order to easily control a high discharge ratio. The container is divited into a first chamber 3 to which air is supplied and a second chamber discharging air through a valve 19 by a frit 6. A powder discharge ratio can be controlled by air pressure (p1 and p4).
