    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To additionally stabilize a flame without raising the amount of emission of harmful substances not so much by disposing a plurality of holes in a burner sickle-shaped plate, and using these holes for supplying a gaseous fuel to an outside recirculating zone. SOLUTION: A row of holes 27 are disposed within the range of a burner sickle-shaped plate 26, for example parallely to an axis 22 of a burner. These holes 27 serve to supply additional gaseous fuel to an outside recirculation zone and mix it thereinto. Operation is performed in such a manner that only about 3 to 8% of the gaseous fuel reaches the outside recirculation zone through the holes 27. Herein, cooling air has been already added and part of heat capable of being sensed by the recirculated gas is already dissipated to a front plate, so that the additional fuel addition does not raise NOx emission so much. Thus, a flame is additionally stabilized.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of a gas turbine plant, by a method wherein middle and/or low calorie fuel is injected into axial and/or coaxial direction by at least one set of injecting means arranged in a whirling current generator, into which gaseous and/or liquid fuel is injected. SOLUTION: A mixing division 2 abutting on a whirling current generator 1, formed so as to have a conical configuration and loaded several times by combustion air stream flowing thereinto tangentially, is constituted of shifting pieces 23 having a plurality of shifting passages 22. An injection nozzle 4, injecting liquid fuel into the whirling current generator 1, is provided at the upper part of axial center of the same while a plurality of fuel supplying conduits 5, supplying middle calorie fuel, are provided coaxially around the injection nozzle 4. On the other hand, the fuel supplying conduits 5 penetrate the shell plates 6, 7 of the whirling current generator. In this case, the middle calorie fuel, finely distributed through a plurality of optimum injection nozzles 8, is mixed additionally into the air stream, formed in the whirling current generator 1, in the axial direction or coaxial direction.
