Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve liquid distribution in an outer chamber of a pressure jet nozzle, and fuel distribution in a premixing burner in particular. SOLUTION: A pressure jet nozzle comprises a nozzle head 4 for communicating an outer tube 2 and an inner tube 3 at the lower stream. In the nozzle head 4 are arranged at least two separated whirl chambers or swirl chambers 9, 10, 11, 12. Each of the whirl chambers or swirl chambers 9, 10, 11, 12 is communicated respectively to a second supply passage by means of at least one swirl passage 16, a first supply passage by means of at least one whirl generating passage, and an outer chamber 18 of a nozzle body 1 by means of an outlet.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To guarantee the optimum injection flow of a burner regardless of variations in a mass flow of cooling air and combustion air. SOLUTION: At least one cooling path 10 is extended into a plenum 13 and formed inside the plenum as diffuser 14 having an orifice 12 into the plenum. At least one of openings 15 and 15' of a burner dome 4 are arranged in the area of the diffuser 14. Bypass paths 16 and 16' having orifices 17 and 17' into the plenum 13 connected on the downstream side of the individual openings. The orifices of the respective bypass paths are turned at least almost parallel with the orifice of the diffuser and formed being shifted in steps outward. Each of the bypass paths has a pressure adjustor.

Abstract: An intermediate chamber (15) at the hood (4) admits bypass air through entry (17) and passes this air (18) through hole (16) into the plenum chamber (10). Entry (17) and plenum admission holes (16) should be offset from one another, with the passage diameter of the plenum hole (16) greater than the entry hole (17) or vice versa. The two diameters can be varied and a second rear wall (14) at the main hood (4) rear wall (12) demarcates their interposed intermediate chamber (15), with the entry hole in wall (14) and the plenum admission hole (16) in wall (12). Wall (12) lies downstream of wall (14) and is made up of outer part (20) and center part (19) complete with plenum admission hole (16).

Abstract: The plenum (13), externally defined by a burner hood (4) for at least one main air current (11), contains at least one burner (5). The combustion area (2), downstream from the plenum, is enclosed by at least one cooler duct (10) opening into the plenum. The hood has at least one opening (15,15') for the subsidiary air current (20). The cooler duct extends as far as the plenum and acts as diffuser (14) inside the plenum, with an opening (12) into the plenum. Downstream for each opening in the hood is a bypass duct (16,16') each of which has a pressure-regulator.
