Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily eliminate residual liquid fuel by interrupting supply of liquid fuel supplied through a first supply conduit simultaneously with the stop of a gas turbine, and feeding an auxiliary medium into a suitable place of the first supply conduit through a second supply conduit. SOLUTION: A fuel system 10 of a burner 11 of a gas turbine has two supply conduits 12, 13, and liquid fuel is supplied through the first supply conduit 12. In this case a washdown process is started simultaneously with the stop of the gas turbine. Supply of liquid fuel is first interrupted by closing a control valve 19 in an interruption place 33. A check valve 27 provided at a connecting conduit 26 is then opened as rapidly as possible after the stop of the gas turbine to supply a low pressure flow medium to the stopped fuel system. Fuel in the pertinent conduit is pushed out by a washdown medium to leak out to a combustion chamber, and conveyed by air in the combustion chamber or through a discharge system so as to be led out to a fuel tank 31.
