    Abstract: A method and an arrangement for charging a capacitive circuit connected to an electric power converter (10), the arrangement comprising charging means (R1, R2, S3) configured to provide a charging current to the capacitive circuit (C), and control means (100) configured to detect, during the charging, a first value and a second value of a charging current of the capacitive circuit (C) or a quantity indicative thereof, such that the second value is detected after a predetermined period of time from the detecting of the first value, compare the second value with the first value; and control the charging means (R1, R2, S3) to stop the charging of the capacitive circuit (C) in response to the first value and the second value differing from each other by less than a predetermined current difference threshold.
