Abstract: The present, disclosure discloses an intermediate Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) device (101) and method for scheduling data transmission for non-TSN devices over TSN (101). The intermediate TSN device (101) determines Media Access Control (MAC) address details for a non-TSN device of a plurality of non-TSN devices (107) by monitoring data traffic associated with the non-TSN device. The intermediate TSN device (101) generates configuration data using a TSN policy associated with the non-TSN device. The TSN policy associated with the non-TSN de vice is obtained from a plurality of TSN policies based on the MAC address details of the non-TSN device, where the plurality of TSN policies is generated based on communication traffic data between the talker devices and the associated listener devices and attributes associated with each communication type. Thereafter, the intermediate TSN device (101) transmit the configuration data to the CUC which initiates configuration with CNC of TSN based on the configuration data for scheduling the data transmission.

Abstract: A method (600) for configuring one or more components of a process plant includes receiving (602) a change request (226) and receiving (604) a system dependency graph (228) corresponding to the process plant. The method (600) further includes selecting (606) a subset of components (230) among the plurality of components based on configuration of the process plant and identifying (608) a subset of nodes (232) among the plurality of nodes by traversing a path in the system dependent graph (228). The method (600) also includes computing (610) an impact parameter (234) value based on a traversed path and computing (612) a plurality of change parameter values (236) based on the traversed path. The method (600) further includes determining (614) an effort estimate (210) based on the impact parameter (234) value and the plurality of change parameter values (236) using a machine learning technique.

Abstract: A method for adjusting machine learning (ML) models in a system comprising a plurality of devices is suggested. The method comprises: - providing a system comprising a plurality of devices, wherein the devices have computational resource capacities; - providing one or more machine learning (ML) tasks; - providing a repository of ML models for the one or more tasks, wherein a plurality of the ML models of a single task solve the same task with different computational resources requirements and different quality metrics; - selecting a device of the plurality of devices of the system to execute a task, wherein the selected device has available computational resource capacities; and - selecting, from the repository of ML models of the task to be executed, one of the ML models, wherein the computational resources requirements of the selected ML model do not exceed the available computational resource capacities of the selected device. Systems configured to perform the methods as disclosed herein are also suggested.
