Abstract: The present invention relates to a switchgear or control gear, comprising at least one first compartment (2, 8, 12), a second compartment (1), a plurality of main switchgear or control gear components, and a plurality of auxiliary switchgear or control gear components. The plurality of main switchgear or control gear components comprises a main busbar system (3), a three position linear or rotational movement disconnector (4), a circuit breaker (5), and a cable connection. Abstract: The present invention relates to a three phase switchgear or control gear, comprising at least one compartment (2, 11, 12, 13, 14), a plurality of components for a first phase, a plurality of components for a second phase, and a plurality of components for a third phase. Abstract: An apparatus (1) for closing a ventilation opening (2) in a housing (4a) of a switch gear (4) in the event of a sudden increase in pressure caused by electric arcing, comprises a frame (10) which is adapted to be coupled to the housing (4a) of the switch gear (4) adjacent the opening (2), a flap (12) pivotally mounted at the frame (10), the flap (12) being adapted to be moved from an open position in which the flap (12) overlaps the ventilation opening (2) keeping a gap (2a) which allows an airflow through the opening (2), into a closed position, in which the flap (12) fully covers the opening (2) and blocks the air flow, spring elastic means (14) which urge the flap (12) into the open position, and a retaining element (16) which is adapted to mechanically lock the flap (12) in the closed position after pivoting the flap (12) from the open position into the closed position.
