Abstract: A method for controlling a marine vehicle propulsion system is disclosed. The propulsion system includes a cyclorotor propeller, an actuator arrangement, and a controller. The method includes receiving, by the controller, a request including at least one force request and/or at least one torque request; determining, by the controller, values for a set of control parameters based on the request; and controlling, by the actuator arrangement receiving the values for the set of control parameters from the controller, the cyclorotor propeller based on the values received.

Abstract: An apparatus, method and computer program for controlling propulsion of marine vessel. The propulsion is implemented by a foil wheel propulsion system. The method includes: receiving a wheel operation status from a wheel drive; receiving a plurality of foil operation statuses from a plurality of foil drives; receiving a command from a vessel control system; generating wheel control data for the wheel drive to control a foil pitch function of the foil wheel propulsion system based on the command in view of the wheel operation status; and generating foil control data for the plurality of the foil drives to further control the foil pitch function of the foil wheel propulsion system based on the command in view of the wheel operation status and the plurality of foil operation statuses, wherein a reference torque of the foil control data for each foil drive is generated using a foil feedforward model.

Abstract: A method for inspecting a solar panel of a solar power station is performed in a controller for an unmanned aerial vehicle, UAV, and includes the steps of: receiving an inspection request for a subset of the solar panels navigating, in a first stage, using radio signals, the UAV to an initial location in a vicinity of a particular solar panel of the subset of solar panels; positioning, in a second stage, the UAV using at least one near field sensor of the UAV; and capturing, using the infrared camera, an image of the particular solar panel.
