Abstract: A disconnector(100) and a switchgear(200) are provided. The disconnector(100) comprises a contact assembly(107) operable to change a status of a circuit, the disconnector(100) arranged in the circuit; shafts(101,102) adapted to be driven to rotate to operate the contact assembly(107); and a transmission unit(103) arranged between the shafts(101,102) and comprising: a plurality of gears(1031,1032) coupled to the shafts(101,102) to enable the shafts(101,102) to rotate with a mutual engagement of the plurality of gears(1031,1032); and a holding assembly(1033) adapted to hold radial positions of the plurality of gears(1031,1032) to ensure the mutual engagement of the plurality of gears(1031,1032). By arranging the holding assembly(1033) to hold the radial positions of the gears(1031,1032) to ensure the mutual engagement of the plurality of gears(1031,1032), only one input shaft(101) and one transmission unit(103) are enough to transmit large torques sufficient to operate the contact assembly(107), even in a case where the input and output shafts(101,102) are not coaxial. Accordingly, one sealing means is enough to well seal the disconnector(100). In this way, the complexity of assembly and costs are reduced.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a switchgear, comprising at least one three-position disconnector arranged in a gas-tight space of a frame. Each phase of the disconnector includes first, second and third fixed contacts and a moving contact. The first fixed contact is directly connected to a main busbar, so that the conductive main circuit has shorter wiring, saving floor space and conductor materials. An outer surface of the moving contact is provided with a slot extending in an axial direction to accommodate rolling elements, which guide the moving contact to move through the second fixed contact and prevent it from rotating. The moving contact is provided with grooves, which accommodate contact pieces to realize connection with the corresponding fixed contact. This arrangement reduces the number of contact pieces, simplifies the structure of the contact and reduces friction. The moving contact of each disconnector is coupled to the same drive shaft so that it is connected to an external operating mechanism via only one sealing point on the frame, thereby improving the sealing performance, simplifying the sealing structure and reducing the complexity and cost of assembly, while enabling the simultaneous driving of the respective moving contacts.
