Abstract: Un fusible para sustrato con gran capacidad de ruptura y película gruesa para alto voltaje, que comprende una envoltura tubular aislante (1) cerrada en ambos extremos por cofias metálicas (2) y rellenada con medio para extinguir el arco (3), en cuya envoltura hay al menos un sustrato aislante (4) que tiene al menos un elemento fusible (5), situado sobre el mismo y en toda su longitud, en forma de fina película conductora de la electricidad, y con zonas terminales (6) ubicadas en sus extremos y conectadas eléctricamente con las cofias mediante contactos de formación especial (7) ubicados en las cofias, caracterizándose por el hecho de que el elemento fusible (5) consta de una parte básica, formada por muchos módulos idénticos cuya forma semeja la de la letra "V", y de dos módulos finales que tienen la forma de un brazo de la letra "V" o de un segmento rectilíneo, y conectándose todos los módulos de la parte básica entre sí en serie, formando de este modo con los módulos finales una curva senoidal que tiene extremos conectados eléctricamente con las zonas terminales (6), y teniendo cada módulo al menos un estrechamiento (9) que permite abrir el trayecto de la corriente durante la sobrecarga del fusible, y en cada módulo, los brazos de la letra "V", de anchura específica, terminan en arcos (8) dirigidos hacia fuera y conectados mediante segmentos rectilíneos con los arcos de los brazos de los módulos vecinos.

The fuse element comprises a basic part formed by multiple identical V-shaped modules and two end modules forming electric connections between the basic part and the terminal areas. In each module, the arms of the V shape, of a specific width, end with arches directed outwards / 8 /, which arches are connected with the arches of the arms of the neighboring modules by means of line segments, thus forming a line, which bends many times at a constant angle and has truncated vertices in each module, in which line at least one module contains at least one edge constriction / 9 /, enabling opening of the current path when the fuse is overloaded.
