Abstract: The purpose of the invention is a stator winding for an electric rotating machine, in particular an high voltage electric rotating machine comprising insulated straight conductors and two end caps, which end caps each comprise a connector for every straight conductor, wherein the straight conductors are connectable to the end caps via the connectors of the respective end cap, and wherein the connectors of each end cap are connected to each other via embedded connections so that when connecting the straight connectors and both end caps, particular straight connectors are connected in serial, resulting in a desired stator winding pattern.
