Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intelligent speed control system for a motorcycle which uses a motor and a battery as its drive source. SOLUTION: This speed control system is provided with a command module 8 transmitting a required speed signal, a speed sensor 4 transmitting the actual speed of the motor, and a controller 3 controlling the motor 1 in response to the speed signal and an actual speed signal to control the speed of the motorcycle which uses the battery 2 as its power source. This system sets allowable maximum speed, especially based on a required mileage 24 and an energy alarm device 25.
