Abstract: The present invention is a putter comprising a putter head (12) having a striking face (4), a crown surface (5), a bore (6) in the crown surface (5), a connection pin (9) secured to the bore (6) of the putter head (12) through a mechanical connection, and a shaft (3) adhered to the putter bore (6) and the connection pin (9). Preferably, the bore (6) is comprised of a first section and a second section. The shaft (3) is adhered to the first section of the bore (6), and the connection pin (9) is secured to the second section of the bore.
