Abstract: A telecommunications termination panel (10) includes a housing having a top(31), a bottom(30), a first side and a second opposing side defining a front opening (32) and a rear opening (34). The housing defines a cable entry adjacent the rear opening and a cable exit adjacent the rear opening, wherein the rear opening is adjacent the first side. A tray (36) is pivotably mounted within the front opening of the housing, pivoting about a vertical axis located adjacent the first side and including a cable entry and a cable exit adjacent the vertical pivot axis and a plurality of connection locations. A cable path (62) is defined between the rear opening of the housing and the tray, the cable path defined by a cable guide (420, 422, 831) defining a channel for receiving cables, the cable guide including a slidable structure (440, 840) configured for pushing cables into the channel defined by the cable guide.

Abstract: Un dispositivo de telecomunicaciones de fibra óptica incluye un bastidor para montar una pluralidad de armazones, incluyendo cada armazón una pluralidad de bandejas montadas de forma deslizable sobre el mismo y dispuestas en una disposición apilada en sentido vertical. Cada bandeja incluye unas ubicaciones de conexión de fibra óptica y una parte de gestión de cables que está acoplada con la bandeja y también acoplada con el armazón, la parte de gestión de cables para enrutar cables hasta y desde las ubicaciones de conexión de fibra óptica y definiendo una pluralidad de brazos articulados que están conectados de forma pivotante de tal modo que la parte de gestión se retrae y se extiende con un movimiento correspondiente de la bandeja, en donde los brazos articulados pivotan uno en relación con otro para evitar que los cables que se gestionan en los mismos se doblen en un arco que tenga un radio de curvatura menor que un valor previamente determinado, definiendo cada brazo articulado una pared superior, una pared inferior, y dos paredes laterales ubicadas de forma opuesta, definiendo cada brazo articulado una porción abierta a lo largo de por lo menos una de las paredes laterales y una porción abierta a lo largo de la pared superior para recibir cables en el mismo, comunicándose una con otra las porciones abiertas a lo largo de la pared superior y la por lo menos una de las paredes laterales.

Abstract: An adapter assembly includes a single-piece or two-piece multi-fiber adapter defining a recess at which a contact assembly is disposed. The adapter assemblies can be disposed within adapter block assemblies or cassettes, which can be mounted to moveable trays. Both ports of the adapters disposed within adapter block assemblies are accessible. Only one port of each adapter disposed within the cassettes are accessible. Circuit boards can be mounted within the block assemblies or cassettes to provide communication between the contact assemblies and a data network.

Abstract: A fiber optic telecommunications device includes a frame and a fiber optic module including a rack mount portion, a center portion, and a main housing portion. The rack mount portion is stationarily coupled to the frame, the center portion is slidably coupled to the rack mount portion along a sliding direction, and the main housing portion is slidably coupled to the center portion along the sliding direction. The main housing portion of the fiber optic module includes fiber optic connection locations for connecting cables to be routed through the frame. The center portion of the fiber optic module includes a radius limiter for guiding cables between the main housing portion and the frame, the center portion also including a latch for unlatching the center portion for slidable movement. Slidable movement of the center portion with respect to the rack mount portion moves the main housing portion with respect to the frame along the sliding direction.

The third latching finger is shorter than the first and second latching fingers. The second latching finger is shorter than the first latching finger. The row also may include a fourth latching finger that is the same height as the first latching finger.

Abstract: An insect-infestation prevention device and a fiber optic telecommunications equipment including an insect-infestation prevention device is disclosed. The fiber optic telecommunications equipment includes a housing with a main housing portion defining a first transverse wall, a front wall, a rear wall, a top wall, and a bottom wall, cooperatively defining an interior. A cable exit/entry is provided opening on one of the front wall, the rear wall, the top wall, and the bottom wall. A removable insect-infestation prevention device is located adjacent the cable exit/entry opening, the insect-infestation prevention device including cable openings communicating with the cable exit/entry opening. The cable openings of the device are sized to accommodate fiber optic cables exiting or entering the housing while limiting the amount of free space around the fiber optic cables to prevent insects from entering the housing. A removable cover mounted to the main housing portion defines a second transverse wall of the housing and captures the insect-infestation prevention device against the main housing portion.
