Abstract:
A vinyl chloride resin composition for vehicles comprising 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride resin and 5 to 200 parts by mass, in total, of (A) at least one trimellitic ester plasticizer and (B) at least one sebacic ester plasticizer, the mass ratio of component (A) to component (B) being 99/1 to 60/40. The composition is excellent in heat stability, thermal aging resistance, cold resistance, and fog resistance and is suited to powder molding owing to its superior molding properties including gelling properties, releasability from mold, and non-contaminating properties.

A vinyl chloride based resin composition for a vehicle, which comprises 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride based resin, and 5 to 200 parts by mass of a plasticizer component consisting of (a) at least one trimellitate based plasticizer and (b) at least one sebacate based plasticizer in a mass ratio [(a) component/(b) component] of 99/1 to 60/40. The resin composition is excellent in thermal stability, the resistance to thermal aging, the resistance to a low temperature and the resistance to fogging, and further is excellent in the formability such as gelling property, the easiness in the release from a mold, and the property of staining a mold, and thus is suitable for use in powder molding.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid stabilizer composition having excellent performance as a stabilizer for a plastisol consisting essentially of a vinyl chloride-based resin without generating a volatile organic substance (VOC) and a plastisol composition containing the liquid stabilizer composition. SOLUTION: The liquid stabilizer composition for a vinyl chloride-based resin is a liquid stabilizer composition containing an organic acid zinc salt (A). Organic acid components constituting the organic acid zinc salt (A) comprise a ≥16C straight-chain aliphatic unsaturated carboxylic acid (a), isostearic acid (b), benzoic acid (c) which may contain a substituent group and an organic acid (d) except the acids (a), (b) and (c) in which 0.05-0.4 mol of the acid (a), 0.1-0.8 mol of the acid (b), 0.1-0.6 mol of the acid (c) and 0-0.5 mol of the acid (d) are used when the total of the organic acid components is 1 mol. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonfoamable vinylchloride resin composition capable of providing a product excellent in heat resistance and in discoloration resistance without using a heavy metal stabilizer such as lead. SOLUTION: This nonfoamable vinylchloride resin composition comprises at least (a) calcium salt of an organic acid, (b) zinc salt of an organic acid and (c) potassium salt of an organic acid, and does not comprise a foaming agent, wherein the contents of (a) the calcium salt of the organic acid, (b) its zinc salt and (c) its potassium salt are each (a) 0.01-5 pts.mass, (b) 0.01-5 pts.mass and (c) 0.001-1 pt.mass based on the vinylchloride resin of 100 pts.mass.
