A film forming auxiliary agent composition for an emulsion resin in accordance with the present invention is characterized in that containing a specific ester compound (A) and a specific fatty acid (B), and having an acid value of 0.05 to 5 mg KOH/g, said composition has low odor, a high boiling point and good film forming ability, and the emulsion resin that is blended with said composition has good long-term storage stability.

An objective of the invention is to provide a urethane-type viscosity modifier composition having good product stability with respect to emulsions using highly hydrophobic monomers. To attain the objective, there is provided a viscosity modifier composition including a compound (A) represented by the following general formula (1) and a compound (B) represented by the following general formula (2) at a mass ratio (A)/(B) of from 70/30 to 95/5. where R 1 to R 4 each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 15 carbon atoms, R 5 and R 9 each represent an ethylene group or a propylene group, R 6 and R 8 each represent a divalent saturated hydrocarbon group having 3 to 13 carbon atoms, R 7 represents an ethylene group, x and y represent a number from 0 to 50, n represents a number from 50 to 500, and m represents a number from 1 to 10, where R 10 to R 13 each represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, or an aromatic hydrocarbon group

An object of the present invention is to provide an emulsion resin composition containing a urethane-type viscosity modifier which does not cause an increase in product viscosity of the emulsion resin composition even if the emulsion resin composition is stored at high temperature or low temperature for a long period of time, or an aqueous resin composition. In order to achieve the object of the present invention, the present invention provides a viscosity modifier represented by the following general formula (1) , and an emulsion composition or an aqueous paint composition including the viscosity modifier: where: R 1 to R 4 each represent a linear alkyl group having 1 to 13 carbon atoms; R 5 and R 6 each represent a group represented by the following formula (2) or (3); m and n each represent a number from 3 to 15; x represents a number from 40 to 800; and y represents a number equal to or more than 1 , provided that each of a total number of carbon atoms in R 1 and R 2 and a total number of carbon atoms in R 3 and R 4 needs to be from 10 to 14.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold releasing agent which is hardly absorbed by an acrylic rubber hose and is excellent in insertability/mold releasability, liquid remaining nature and water washability, to provide a mold releasing agent which can be used by adding an oxidation inhibitor even when vulcanization at high temperature is performed and is excellent in insertability/mold releasability, liquid remaining nature and water washability and further to provide a mold releasing agent by which desired effect can be obtained without spoiling mold releasability by using the oxidation inhibitor too even when vulcanization at high temperature is performed for a long time as the mold releasing agent usable for a mandrel for molding the hose.
