Abstract:
The offset QPSK modulation analytic system capable of estimating the initial phase of an offset QPSK modulated signal is disclosed. For each of a plurality of candidate values for the initial phase, the correlation coefficient between a signal whose clock delay has been estimated and compensated and an ideal signal generated based on the signal is computed, and the candidate value having the maximum value of the computed correlation coefficient is estimated as the optimum initial phase.
Abstract:
For each of several candidate values for an initial phase a coefficient of correlation is calculated between a signal whose clock pulse delay has been estimated and compensated and an ideal signal created by the signal. The system includes a ZF signal converter (100), a baseband converter (200), a frequency error coarse estimator-cum-compensator (300), an initial phase and frequency error estimator-cum-compensator (400) and a precise parameter estimator (500).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset QPSK modulation analyzing system capable of estimating an initial phase and clock delay contained in a received signal using an offset QPSK modulating system. SOLUTION: Phase correcting parts 4301-430n perform phase corrections respectively corresponding to (n) pieces of candidate values ϕ1-ϕn of the initial phase, and clock delay correcting parts 4301-430n estimate the clock delay while using a QPSK signal returning the offset component of quadrature or in-phase component of this phase corrected signal original. A correlation coefficient calculating part 442 calculates the coefficient of mutual correlation between a real clock delay corrected signal and a correspondent ideal signal, and an optimum initial phase discriminating part 450 extracts the initial phase of the maximum mutual correlation coefficient as one closest to a true value.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously display measurement data such as power in two or more kinds of code hierarchies. SOLUTION: Bar graphs 360J, K have a constant breadth ((1/128)W) regardless of diffusion code length, whereas display regions 360E, F have widths ((1/32)W, (1/4)W) corresponding to diffusion code lengths. Since intervals 360G, H where nothing is displayed are produced in the display regions 360E, F as a result, diffusion code length can be read from the breadth of the intervals. Accordingly, to which code hierarchy a code domain power, etc., belong can be told, even if measurement data such as code domain powers in two or more kinds of code hierarchies is simultaneously displayed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily display a result of comparison of the magnitude relation between a measurement signal and a threshold. SOLUTION: When the electric power displayed on an electric power graph 44 is over a threshold displayed on a threshold value graph 46, the kind of line of the part (threshold) 46a over the threshold is changed from a solid line to a dotted line. Here, as an image plane 40 is single, an independent image plane for displaying the magnitude relation between the power and the threshold becomes unnecessary. Whereby the display of the result of comparison of the magnitude relation between the power and the threshold can be easily performed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the modulation precision of a TDMA communication system at a base station in an actual operation state and a mobile terminal in a packet communication state. SOLUTION: The device is equipped with a burst signal rise detection part 22 which detects a rise in a burst signal, a burst signal demodulation part 23 which demodulates the signal in the burst by slots from the rise, and a sink word detection part 24 which detects whether or not the signal in the demodulated burst contains a sink word to be measured. Even if one frame has multiple bursts, the sink word detection part 24 detects the word to be measured, so which burst the sink word to be measured is present can be detected, so the modulation precision in the actual operation state can be measured.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus making easily understandable indications of the code domain power and data relating therewith. SOLUTION: The physical quantity indictor 1 for indicating physical quantities every specified channel after demodulating signals having multiplexed channels of different diffusion code lengths, comprises a channel recorder 20 for recording target channels to be indicated and the diffusion code lengths of the target channels, a power calculator 30 for calculating the power of the target channel, and a power indicator 40 for indicating the power of the target channel. It can indicate the power of the target channel recorded by the recorder 20 and also the target channels of different diffusion code lengths at the same time, since the diffusion code lengths of the target channels may be different.
