Abstract: The graphic user interface controls a test equipment for testing a device under test by indicating images such as graphic symbols or the position of push buttons on an image screen. These images are selected by a pointer system. The system has a graphic user interface production and management unit, which includes a model view control unit, that contains a modeling unit for data management. A viewing unit indicates the content of the modeling unit on the image screen. A control unit determines an event, representing the input data from the pointer system. This is then converted in a process for the model unit or the viewing unit. A pull control unit implements the moving and the letting drop with visible reaction.
