Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stretchable new polysilane and a stretched film comprising the above polysilane. SOLUTION: This stretchable silane copolymer is composed of a dimethylsilane unit A and a methylpropylsilane unit B and the copolymer has (3/7) to (6/4) weight ratio [A]/[B] of the content [A] of the dimethylsilane unit A to the content [B] of the methylpropylsilane unit B and >=50,000 number- average molecular weight. The stretched film comprises the silane copolymer.
