    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general purpose type dibbling mechanism which is used in a sowing machine for direct sowing, has a mechanism for accurately dibbling, and can easily be built in an existing sowing machine. SOLUTION: This general purpose type dibbling mechanism, comprising many seed containers 1 disposed in parallel on the frame of the sowing machine for direct sowing, hoppers 2 for loading the seed containers, seed paying-out mechanisms 3 disposes in the bottom portions of the hoppers, paying-out chutes 4 disposed on the exits of the seed-delivering mechanisms, and dibbling chutes 6 which are connected to the seed paying-out chutes and whose sowing ports are disposed at places near to the ground surface through support arms, characterized in that each of the dibbling chutes comprise a vertical cylinder 7 for guiding seeds dropped the paying-out chute and a cylindrical outer valve 8 integrated with the vertical cylinder 7 in the axial direction orthogonal to the vertical cylinder, and characterized by disposing a cylindrical inner valve in the outer valve in a slidably rotatable state so that the rotary valve is operated interlockingly of the outer valve with the inner valve.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a green soybean pod sorting method which saves energy and raises efficiency for labor of sorting green soybean pods, and a green soybean pod sorting apparatus.
    SOLUTION: A green soybean pod 11 is dropped onto a central face of a joining part 7 of two mirrors 6 with the longitudinal direction of the pod 11 being oriented vertically, and the whole images of the front face and two side faces of the pod 11 are picked up by a CCD (charge coupled device) camera 10 disposed in front of the central face. An outer shape, a flaw and discoloration such as browning of the pod 11 are extracted by an image processing section. The green soybean pod sorting apparatus A has a feeding conveyor 3 and a delivery conveyor 4 connected with an image picking-up unit 1 by providing a vertical step 5, and the step part 5 is provided with the above two mirrors 6 arranged in a V shape in plan view. An illumination unit is provided right above the green soybean pod 11 falling position on the central face of the joining part 7 of the two mirrors 6. A posture stabilizing plate 8 is provided at a required position above the two mirrors 6. The CCD camera 10 is disposed below the posture stabilizing plate 8 in front of the central face of the joining part 7. Further, a green soybean pod sorting apparatus having a posture stabilizing plate 20 capable of being controlled forward/rearward above the two mirrors 6 and being tilted to an arbitrary angle is also disclosed.
