Abstract: The present disclosure includes computing device related, systems, and methods for identifying force placed on a tooth are described herein. One method includes receiving initial orthodontic data (lOD) including teeth data; creating a virtual set of teeth from the lOD; receiving dental appliance information including at least one of dental appliance material properties and characteristics; virtually placing a dental appliance, formed from the dental appliance information, onto the virtual set of teeth; and determining one or more forces applied to the teeth based on information from the lOD and dental appliance information.

Abstract: Un procedimiento implementado por medio de un dispositivo de computación para la identificación virtual de la fuerza colocada sobre un diente, que comprende: la recepción de datos de ortodoncia iniciales (IOD), que incluyen datos de los dientes; la creación de un conjunto virtual de dientes (100) a partir de los IOD; la identificación de un modelo de destino virtual de los dientes (104) con base en los IOD que representa un plan de tratamiento; la recepción de información del aparato dental que incluye por lo menos una de las propiedades y características de los materiales del aparato dental; la colocación virtual de un aparato dental, formado a partir de la información del aparato dental, en el conjunto virtual de dientes; el cómputo de uno o más parámetros de la fuerza deseada de un aparato dental con base en la información a partir de los IOD y la información del aparato dental para moverse hacia una posición final de un segmento particular de un plan de tratamiento; y la estimación de una o más fuerzas reales generadas por el aparato dental colocado de manera virtual como se aplica a uno o más dientes con base en la información a partir de los IOD y la información del aparato dental y la verificación de que el aparato dental colocado de manera virtual está aplicando un parámetro de la fuerza deseada a los uno o más dientes con base en una comparación de la una o más fuerzas deseadas y la una o más fuerzas reales estimadas.
