Abstract: PURPOSE: To inhibit electromagnetic radiation from a cathode-ray tube. CONSTITUTION: A secondary shielding enclosure 14 which surrounds CRT 18 and inhibits electromagnetic radiation is contained in a shielding-type CRT 18 display. A primary shielding enclosure 12 in the secondary shielding enclosure 14 is provided with a part 16 which is coaxial with the neck part 22 of CRT 18 for inhibiting electromagnetic radiation from CRT 18. An inner conductive layer comprising an inner aqua tag, a wire mask and fluorescence coating is included in CRT 18. The inner conductive layer is grounded through a reactive route for suppressing electromagnetic radiation. The outer shielding of the display face part of CRT 18 becomes unnecessary by the duplex shielding suppression technology.
