    Abstract: This invention relates to a process for the preparation of triazine carbamates by reacting a mixture of an aminotriazine A having at least two amino groups per molecule, an organic carbonate C which is preferably an acyclic carbonate, and a mixture B of bases comprising at least two basic metal compounds B1 and B2 individually selected from the group consisting of hydrides, amides, alkoxides, and arylalkoxides of metals, wherein the metal in B1 is not the same as the metal in B2.
