Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to manage the quantity of blood remaining in a blood collecting tube.
SOLUTION: A certain blood collecting tube coupler 52 is selected out of a plurality of blood collecting tube couplers with different heights of collecting holes arranged in collecting needles, the collecting needle 26 of the certain blood collecting tube coupler 52 penetrates into a sealing lid 22 of the blood collecting tube 12 and the blood collecting tube 12 is loaded onto the blood collecting tube coupler 52. Thereafter blood in the blood collecting tube 12 in an inverted condition is taken outside through the collecting needle 26 and collected in a collecting container 36, thereby the blood of the amount according to the height of the collecting hole 28 remains in the blood collecting tube 12.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically recognize the rack placed on a rack placing part and to instantaneously specify the rack to be replaced by an operator. SOLUTION: This rack recognizing apparatus is equipped with: the rack 5 for arranging a plurality of containers 16 for housing liquid samples to hold them; the rack placing part 6 arranging a plurality of racks 5 in one row to place them; the labels 10, on which bar codes are printed, respectively applied to the racks 5; a bar code reader 7 for reading the bar codes; and a bar code reader driving mechanism 103 for moving the bar code reader 7 with respect to the racks 5 placed on the rack placing part 6 to allow the bar code reader 7 to read the bar codes from the labels 10 of the respective racks 5. The racks 5 placed on the rack placing part 6 are recognized on the basis of the bar codes read by the bar code reader 7 and the bar code reader 7 is positioned so as to be opposed to the rack 5 to be replaced. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a processing time in an automatic unplugging unit, in a specimen processing system for processing a specimen container such as a blood sampling tube. SOLUTION: A rack 14 is conveyed by a conveyor 12. A specimen information acquisition unit 16 is provided on the upstream side of the automatic unplugging unit 18. The specimen information acquisition unit 16 has a label reader for gripping up the specimen container and reading optically a label stuck on the specimen container. When reading label information, information 200A for unplugging necessary for performing automatic unplugging processing is acquired and delivered to the automatic unplugging unit 18 through a control unit 202. For example, in the specimen information acquisition unit 16, information such as the length of the specimen container, the kind of a plug or existence of the plug is acquired. Since unplugging processing can be executed after acquiring beforehand the unplugging information 200A, the processing time can be shortened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a rapid treatment at the time of reservation or reuse of a specimen concerning a divided infusion device. SOLUTION: Tips for reservation 36, installed on a nozzle base part 12, are used as containers for reservation of specimens. A blocking member 40 is installed on a tip rack for reservation 38, and tip openings of the tips 36 are blocked by the blocking member 40. To put it concretely, the tip openings are sealed tightly by fitting the both by inserting the tip parts into cap holes 40A. In case of reuse of the specimen, the nozzle base part 12 is installed again to the tips 36.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily understandable which rack is to be exchanged manually. SOLUTION: A plurality of racks 12-22 are arranged on a rack tray. A plurality of test tubes are held standing at each rack 12-22, to which dispensed liquid samples are injected. Light-emitting elements 32-42 are set correspondingly to the racks 12-22. The light-emitting element corresponding to the rack completing the dispensation is turned on. A user can easily specify the rack to be exchanged. A correspondence relation of rack numbers and numbers of light- emitting elements is registered in a memory 44.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to grasp the quantity of a reserved specimen in case where a parent specimen is reserved as a reserved specimen. SOLUTION: A control part 26 has a residual-quantity operation part 28. The quantity of a parent specimen 14 remaining in a parent-specimen container 10 is grasped by the residual-quantity operation part 28. In this case, even if dispensing such as return of the parent specimen or shortage of discharge is performed, an accurate residual quantity of the parent specimen is controlled. The reserved quantities corresponding to each reserved specimens are memorized in a residual-quantity memory table 32. The residual quantity data are referred when the reserved specimen is reused.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent partial rise of a nozzle chip and efficiently perform waste recollection by disposing a thin-line shaped obstacle colliding with a dropping nozzle chip and scattering it in the vertical downward direction of a discarding position. SOLUTION: An obstacle is formed of a thin-line material having anti- corrosion property, for example stainless wire of approx. 1mm in wire diameter, bent in the substantially U-letter shape, and fixed to a frame 14 or the like provided with a remover 108. At this time, an intermediate side 12a of the obstacle is disposed so as to cross a drop axial line of a nozzle chip 100. A nozzle base portion 102 at which specified analysis operation is completed moves to a discarding position 104 of the chip 100 and removes the chip 100 by hooking an upper end portion thereof on the remover 108. The removed chip 100 drops and collides with the obstacle, and scatters to the left and right. The obstacles are never coupled with each other because they are rotated due to collision, and even if specimen or reagent adhered to the chip 100 scatter, these are never adhered to the obstacle because of its thin line shape.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and accurately grasp an objective specimen with an error by an operator without stopping tentatively an operation, and without troubling the operator, even when a treatment error is generated in an original specimen or a sub-specimen; and to simply carry out a post process. SOLUTION: The each sub-specimen 120 is moved from a circulation rack 113 to be stored in a storage rack 10c-1, when any of the various errors is not generated in a specimen treatment system, in a specimen transfer unit 10-1. When the error is generated, the original specimen 101 is moved from an original specimen rack 111; the sub-specimen 110 is moved from a sub-specimen rack 112 and the each sub-specimen 120 is moved from the circulation rack 113 respectively, properly in response to the error, so as to be stored properly in storage racks 10c-2 to 10c-5. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermostat wherein a heating object is smoothly put in and out to and from a thermostat body at both low and high temperatures.
SOLUTION: This thermostat 1 is used at least at two different temperatures, and has the thermostat body 2 having recessed parts 20 capable of storing at least a part of the heating object 6 supporting test tubes 61 storing liquid on a test tube rack 62, and a temperature controlling means 3 controlling the temperature of the thermostat body 2. A wall part 22 of the body 2 is provided with at least one slit 23(a communicating hole opened at an upper end of the wall part 22) penetrating through the wall part 22 and communicating with the recessed part 20. The slit 23 functions to reduce deformation of the body 2 due to thermal expansion when heating the thermostat body 2. Thus, the heating object 6 can be smoothly put in or out to and from the body 2 at both low and high temperatures.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve services to a person to whom the blood collection is executed in a blood collection work supporting system having blood collecting stand units. SOLUTION: After a person to whom the blood collection is to be executed is newly accepted at an examination-reception unit 10, the person who is waiting for collecting his blood is specified, and waiting time for the blood collection for the person to whom the blood collection is made is predictably computed by referring to the various kinds of tables 32 to 38. The waiting time for the blood collection is printed on a blood collection card 28 and the blood collection card 28 is given to each person to whom the blood collection is executed.
