    Abstract: Artículo de material geocompuesto autorreparador, que comprende: a) un par de telas geotextiles (24, 28) tejidas o no tejidas, adyacentes y coextensivas, que contienen una capa de material absorbente de agua (26) incluida en su interior, en una de sus interfaces, o confinando la capa de material absorbente de agua (26) entremedias, caracterizado por que b) la capa de material absorbente de agua (26) comprende un material (26) autorreparador absorbente de agua de alta conductividad, parcialmente reticulado, insoluble en agua, en polvo o en gránulos, capaz de absorber agua que tenga una conductibilidad de al menos 1 mS/cm, que comprende un copolímero de acrilamida, ácido acrílico y sal de ácido acrílico; y en el que el artículo de material geocompuesto presenta un índice de comportamiento en autorreparación inferior a 0,1 cuando es ensayado realizando una hendidura de 2,54 cm (1 pulgada) a través de todas las capas del artículo de material geocompuesto sellado por sus bordes bajo 4 metros de agua con una conductividad de 1 mS/cm o mayor.
