Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel capable of reporting a single point even when multiple objects are placed on a sensing plane.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a touch panel having a transparent capacitive sensing medium configured to detect multiple touches or near touches that occur at the same time and at distinct locations in the plane of the touch panel and to produce distinct signals representative of the locations of the touches on the plane of the touch panel for each of the multiple touches.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an improvement when a gesture is executed on a touch sensitive device. SOLUTION: A method and a system for processing touch inputs are disclosed. One aspect includes: reading data from a multipoint sensing device, such as a multipoint touch screen, where the data pertain to touch input with respect to the multipoint sensing device; and identifying at least one multipoint gesture on the basis of the data from the multipoint sensing device.
