Einige Gesichtspunkte beziehen sich auf eine elektronische Vorrichtung, die einen Transceiver, der konfiguriert ist, um basierend auf einem Nahbereichs-Kommunikationsprotokoll zu kommunizieren, und einen Prozessor, der kommunikativ mit dem Transceiver gekoppelt ist, einschließt. Der Prozessor empfängt einen oder mehrere Parameter von einer peripheren elektronischen Vorrichtung und bestimmt, basierend auf mindestens dem einen oder den mehreren Parametern, einen oder mehrere Synchronisationsparameter. Der Prozessor überträgt ferner den einen oder die mehreren Synchronisationsparameter an die periphere elektronische Vorrichtung. Der eine oder die mehreren Synchronisationsparameter können mindestens einen Scanversatz einschließen, der der peripheren elektronischen Vorrichtung zugeordnet ist.
