Abstract: In einigen Implementierungen kann eine Rechenvorrichtung Medienwiedergabekanäle zum Präsentieren von Medieninhalt durch ein Mediensystem durch Bestimmen der Medienausbreitungslatenz durch das Mediensystem kalibrieren. Beispielsweise kann die Rechenvorrichtung Kalibrierinhalt (z. B. Audiodaten, Videodaten usw.) an verschiedene Wiedergabevorrichtungen (z. B. Wiedergabekanäle) des Mediensystems senden und einen Zeitstempel aufzeichnen, der anzeigt, wann der Kalibrierinhalt gesendet wurde. Wenn die Wiedergabevorrichtungen den Kalibrierinhalt präsentieren, kann eine Sensorvorrichtung (z. B. Fernsteuervorrichtung, Smartphone usw.) die Präsentation des Kalibrierinhalts erfassen. Die Sensorvorrichtung kann Kalibrierdaten (z. B. Medienabtastwerte, die den Kalibrierinhalt und/oder einen Zeitstempel enthalten können, der angibt, wann der Medienabtastwert durch die Sensorvorrichtung erfasst wurde) an die Rechenvorrichtung senden.
