    Abstract: PURPOSE: An audio user interface for an electronic device without a display is provided to reduce the size of an electronic device and receive/transmit audio clips reproduced in an audio menu with a proper approaching method. CONSTITUTION: Audio playback operations are controlled using input from a single detecting element. A first input is received from the single detecting element. A menu mode is accessed by responding to the reception of the first input. One or more audio clips related to a menu option are reproduced. A second input is received from an input interface(108) while reproducing at least one of the audio clips. The menu option related to one of the audio clips is accessed by responding to the reception of the second input.
