Abstract: A plug has a bottom plate 350, on which are mounted prongs 310 connected to terminals 354, 356. An inner cover 340 covers these terminals. The plug has an outer shell 320, and conductors 334, 336 are secured either to the outer shell or to a clip 330 which can be secured to the outer shell. The conductors pass through openings 342 in the inner cover to contact the terminals. The inner cover may protect the terminals even if the plug is damaged. The plug may be part of a plug-mounted power supply, or may have a wireless transceiver or USB socket.
