Abstract: The disclosure relates to system and method for supporting Multicast Broadcast Service (MBS) SERVICE in Non-terrestrial network (NTN). In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) device may comprises: at least one antenna; at least one radio, configured to perform wireless communication using at least one radio access technology; and one or more processor coupled to the at least one radio, wherein the at least one radio and the one or more processor are configured to receive Multicast Broadcast Service (MBS) data, wherein the one or more processor are configured to case the UE device to: receive, from a network device, a timing offset indicating a slot offset for a Hybrid Automatic Repeat request (HARQ) feedback transmission; and determine a transmission timing for an HARQ feedback transmission for the MBS data based on the timing offset.

Abstract: Mechanisms are provided for a user equipment (UE) to determine a transmission frequency or a time advance for an uplink transmission from the UE to a base station in a non-terrestrial wireless network (NTN) without global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) information available to the UE. A communication connection between the UE and a base station can be established. The UE can determine that GNSS information is not available, and report to the base station that the GNSS information is not available. The UE can receive, from the base station, an indication of one or more parameters for an uplink transmission from the UE to synchronize the uplink transmission. The UE can determine, based on a current transmission frequency and the received indication of the one or more parameters, a next transmission frequency and transmit the uplink transmission at the determined next transmission frequency.

Abstract: Indicating repetitions at a UE in an NTN includes decoding a communication indicating a timing relationship value associated with a distance between a serving satellite and a farthest UE in the NTN. A PRACH communication is encoded for transmission. The PRACH communication includes an indication of a number of PRACH repetitions determined based on the timing relationship value. A RAR including an uplink (UL) grant corresponding to the UE and an indication of a number of RAR repetitions is decoded. The number of RAR repetitions is determined based on the timing relationship value. A PUSCH communication including an indication of a number of PUSCH repetitions is encoded. The number of PUSCH repetitions is determined based on the timing relationship value. A content resolution communication including an indication of a number of content resolution repetitions is decoded. The number of content resolution repetitions is determined based on the timing relationship value.

Abstract: The present application relates to synchronization signal transmission using multiple beams. In an example, a network node may support M beams covering M areas. However, only K K coverage areas during a second time period, and so on until all of the M coverage areas are reached to restart the cycle. A UE is located in only one coverage area, and would see the synchronization signal beam once during a period of time equal to the time needed to cycle through the M coverage areas.
