Abstract:
Methods, systems, and computer-readable medium for providing an audio file interface. In one implementation, a method is provided. The method includes, while playing an audio file on a mobile device and displaying a current view in a user interface of the mobile device, receiving first user input requesting that an audio interface be displayed, and displaying the audio interface as an overlay in the user interface, where the audio interface includes information associated with the audio file.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for creating stations by adding new media streams are provided. A system and method can include a graphical interface having a group of graphical elements associated with remotely stored media streams, and an initiation object for adding new media streams. Input corresponding to a selection of the initiation object to display new stream options can be received. Input corresponding to a selection of a new stream option can be received. A selection indication of an added new media stream can be provided. Adding a new media stream can include displaying a graphical animation that adds a graphical element associated with the new media stream to the group of graphical elements on the graphical interface.
Abstract:
Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for managing alerts of one or more computing devices. For example, a user device may configure a user interface to present electronic content corresponding to a first category. The user device may also receive a data structure of rules. At least one rule may correspond to an entry of the data structure for an alert category pairing. The user device may receive information that identifies and incoming alert and determine a presentation method for the incoming alert based at least in part on a corresponding rule. The user device may also present the incoming based at least in part on the determined presentation method.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for multitasking using touch-sensitive devices are disclosed herein. In one aspect, a method includes: displaying, on a touch-sensitive display ("TSD") of a device, first and second applications such that the first and second applications occupy substantially all of the TSD and are separated at a border between the first and second applications. The method further includes: detecting a swipe gesture at the second application, the swipe gesture moving in a direction that is substantially parallel to the border. In response to detecting the swipe gesture, the method includes: determining whether the swipe gesture satisfies a threshold. Upon determining that the swipe gesture satisfies the threshold, the method includes: replacing the second application with an application selector that includes a plurality of selectable affordances corresponding to applications available on the device, the application selector being displayed in an area of the TSD previously occupied by the second application.
Abstract:
User interfaces for a streaming media system can replicate aspects of broadcast media systems. Icons representing streaming media stations region can be arranged in a scrollable array, and a visual indicator presented to identify the current station's icon. Some or all of the station icons can be "dynamic" icons that virtually play tracks by updating artwork and/or progress indicators even when a different station is current. Information about previously played tracks can be presented in a history region adjacent to a region presenting information about a current track, and an animated transition can move the current track's information to the history region when the current track finishes playing.
Abstract:
Electronic devices with improved methods and interfaces for messaging are disclosed, including improved ways to: acknowledge messages; edit previously sent messages; express what a user is trying to communicate; display private messages; synchronize viewing of content between users; incorporate handwritten inputs; quickly locate content in a message transcript; integrate a camera; integrate search and sharing; integrate interactive applications; integrate stickers; make payments; interact with avatars; make suggestions; navigate among interactive applications; manage interactive applications; translate foreign language text; combine messages into a group; and flag messages.
Abstract:
A method includes: displaying a first view of a first application; detecting a first portion of a first input; if the first portion of the first input meets application-switching criteria, concurrently displaying portions of the first application view and a second application view; while concurrently displaying the portions of the application views, detecting a second portion of the first input; if the second portion of the first input meets first-view display criteria (liftoff of contact detected in a first region), ceasing to display the portion of the second application view and displaying the first application view; and if the second portion of the first input meets multi-view display criteria (liftoff of contact detected in a second region), maintaining concurrent display of a portion of the first application view and a portion of the second application view on the display after detecting the liftoff of the contact.
Abstract:
The method for manipulating a cursor is performed at a portable multifunction device with one or more processors, memory, and a touch screen display. Initially, content of an electronic document is displayed on the display, where a cursor is displayed within the electronic document. Two substantially simultaneous touch inputs are then detected on the touch screen display, and preferably anywhere on the touch screen display. In response to detecting the two substantially simultaneous touch inputs, a portion of the content in the document closest to the cursor is selected, and the portion of the content is displayed as selected content.
