The coaching notifications may include information that encourages or otherwise coaches users towards established fitness goals. To this end, the timing for presenting along with the substance of the coaching notifications can be customized to the users.

The present disclosure relates to techniques for displaying representations of physical input devices and overlaying visual features on the representations of physical input devices in a computer-generated reality (CGR) environment. The techniques include displaying a virtual application in a CGR environment and, in response to detecting an input field in the displayed virtual application, displaying at least a portion of the displayed application on a representation of a physical input device. The at least a portion of the displayed application includes the detected input field. In response to detecting an input received at the physical input device, the input field is updated with the input, and the updated input field is displayed.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable medium are provided for providing dynamic rule-based messages. For example, a user device may identify physical activity information. Based at least in part on the activity information, the device may determine whether a physical activity goal has been reached. The device may determine whether to present a dynamic progress update message based at least in part on a time since a first activity message was presented and whether the physical activity goal has been reached. In some instances, when it is determined to present the dynamic progress update message, the device may access a data structure configured to maintain progress update information associated with respective time intervals. The device may then retrieve the dynamic progress update message that corresponds to a particular time interval from the data structure. The device may also present the message for the particular time interval.

A fitness achievement definition may define a fitness achievement using trigger information and one or more achievement rules. The fitness achievement may be earnable by a user of a user device by meeting the requirements of the fitness achievement. The fitness achievement definition may be stored on a user device that includes an application that collects data including fitness data. Detection of a trigger event corresponding to the trigger information and evaluation of the achievement rules may be managed by the user device. In some examples, a fitness communication relating to the fitness achievement may be presented at the user device.

In an exemplary process for selecting a text input field using an eye gaze, a graphical object including the text input field is displayed. The text input field is associated with one or more respective locations on one or more displays. Characteristics of an eye gaze are determined using gaze sensors, and a gaze location is determined using the characteristics. Input is received from an input device corresponding to one or more text characters. If the gaze location corresponds to the one or more respective locations, then the one or more text characters are displayed in the text input field. If the gaze location does not correspond to the one or more respective locations, then the one or more text characters are not displayed in the text input field.

For example, a streak of workouts over many days can be maintained while the user switches between two watches over that period of time.
